Clothes Swap & Fixing Fashion

Monthly clothes swap at St. Peter's on North Main St. in Cork City on the second Saturday of every month. 

How the swap works:

• Arrive after 11am with up to 5 items of clothes in good condition.
• Wash & dry your clothes in advance (we will not accept dirty, damp or damaged clothes)
• Bring a couple of euro to give a donation if you can
• Browse through our rails and take up to 5 items of clothes
• Hand the hangers back to the swap volunteers
• Feel free to say hi and have a chat
• Share your swap find on your social media and tag us #corkclothesswap to spread the word!
• We store all leftover clothes for the next swap

We don't accept:

• Underwerar, swimwear, sleepwear (hygiene reasons)
• Shoes, accessories, bads (storage reasons)

How Fixing Fashion works:

We want to help you make your clothes last. Our skilled Fashion Fixers are equipped with needle and thread to show you how to care, repair or upgrade your clothes. Bring your damaged garment or find something from the swap and our Fixers can advise you on how to repair a tear, add a button or alter your piece into something new. If they have time they can do a simple fix on the spot for you for a donation. 

Inspired by the proverb "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime", we want to empoyer you how to mainatain your clothes. 

How to get here:

Rebel Reads Bookshop is located in the Marina Commercial Park. In the evening the first two gates (City Centre side) are closed. Please come in through the main entrance (3rd gate from City Centre).

We are located next to My Goodness. To get there, enter the main entrance, turn left, go straight towards the Marina Market, when you reach a fence turn right and you will see us.
